This is the first, the beginning. This piece is the manifestation of my search for creative direction and inspiration. Before this piece I reflected on what I gravitated to. Some artist I gravitated to in this time were fashion illustrators like Zhenya Z, ANJELICA ROSELYN, and JIAYI LI. I enjoy these artists’ use of color, their attention to detail. Zhenya’s use of the “unfinished look” by simplifying details or letting the colored pages complete the image. Anjelica’s use of imperfection and child like approach to her illustrations, and Jiayi li use of futuristic a color palette. This is where my exploration began. When I had not access to creative expression in my day to day I cultivated it. This art piece should encourage you to transcend past the current reality. Remember you are constantly receiving creativity and cultivating your own.
